Multifunctional Simple Hotkey Scripts for Maya

A bunch of simple scripts designed to save some space on your keyboard
Collapse/Merge to Center:
- If vertices are selected then Merge to Center otherwiseCollapse
- If one face or object with one face is selected then Extrude and merge to Center, useful to triangulate ngon cap on cylinders
XRay/Wireframe on Shaded:
- Single Press to toggle XRay
- Press and hold the hotkey for 0.3s to toggle Wireframe on Shaded
Toggle Smooth Mesh Display :
- The hotkey toggles On/Off Smooth mesh display of selected objects
Grow/Convert selection to vertices:
- If vertices are selected then Grow selection
- If anything else selected then convert selection to vertices
Grow/Convert selection to faces:
- Works the same way
Convert selection to edges/Edge Loop:
- If vertices are selected then Conver Selection to Edge Loop
- If anything else selected then convert selection to edges
Edit Pivot:
- Single press toggles On/Off Pivot Editing Mode
- As long as you hold the hotkey Pivot Editing Mode and Point Snap are active
Center/Reset/Bake Pivot:
- Center Pivot works for objects and componnents
- If pivot of components isn't edited then the script will set object pivot to components pivot position, otherwise Reset Pivot
Vertex/Uv Selection Mode:
- Sets selection mode to Vertex
- If texture edditor is active sets selection mode to Uv
Object/Multi Selection Mode:
- Press the hotkey to set Object Selection Mode
- Press again to toggle between Multi Selection Mode and Object Selection Mode
Toggle Texture Editor
Ungroup selected objects
Add to group
Toggle make Live
Duplicate Special/Edge flow
Toggle Template
Sweep
Toggle
